Videos have been a part of my life since I was a young boy. Banging them out in rapid succession when I was still able to go into hyper-focus, and work hours on end making my comedic masterpieces.
Each of these early works are a window into my emotional life. Some of them were simply for a good laugh, others had hidden longing. Dreams yet to be fulfilled. In any case, there is a generation of millennials surrounding the McCook family who know and love these films, and I feel good about that.
It was 2001....
...and my sisters and I decided to make a music video for NSync’s, “Pop”.
Total Request Live (TRL) had just announced they would broadcast fan music videos. So, I submitted “Pop” under the names Becky, Molly and McJ. (It seemed cool at the time) To our amazement, they aired our “Pop” video with Carson Daly himself introducing it.
